Brisbane based Starrtec Pty Ltd, has been deeply involved in the development, service and support of Hospitality POS Systems since 1991. During almost twenty years of providing Hardware Support to Casinos, Hotels and Clubs through to small one Register Restaurants, Starrtec has developed an intimate knowledge of the wide ranging requirements of the Hospitality Industry.
This knowledge has been incorporated in the STARRT back office program and the StarrPOS POS Terminals providing intuitive systems for the modern manager.

Starrtec Pty Ltd have provided the Gaming Interface Software “StarrSrvr” (Star-Server) to other Computer Retail Companies throughout Australia.
The StarrSrvr Program is a Computerised link between the POS and the Gaming Machines to allow points to be awarded for F&B purchases. Depending on the sophistication of the Gaming System, StarrSrvr can also perform intricate tasks such as running site wide Bar-Tabs, varying Member level points rewarding, Promotional Ticket Printing and most importantly for some, maintaining the Member’s original Card Number even though the Cards have been replaced with different numbers.
As well as the PC based POS Terminals, Starrtec also provides the ROM based Sharp and Uniwell Registers with the associated Register management programs.
